Featuring Russell Mitchell
& Exile Cycles:
Russell has to be the most well-known custom bike builder around (maybe with the exception of Jesse James and OCC). He has done more Discovery “Biker Build Off” shows than any other builder and has hosted two seasons of his own show, “Build or Bust” on the Speed channel. He has appeared on “Access Hollywood”, “Extra” and “E! News” and has been featured in magazines from “Millionaire” to “Hustler”. You can learn more about Russell by clicking on www.exilecycles.com and watching his show-reel.
To update you on Exile Cycles and Russell Mitchell’s 2007 media presence, this past year we were featured on Motorcycle Mania 4 where Russell built a Gun Metal Exile Chopper at Daytona Bike Week for rock legend John Mellencamp, the show aired on TLC in May with just under a million viewers.
We picked up a new forty foot show rig in March, it has a full graphic wrap, one side looking like a B-52 bomber and the other side has 4 of the Discovery bikes larger than life, the trailer has a flat screen TV on the side so at shows we play episodes from the Discovery, TLC and Speed channel series.
A licensing company picked up the Exile brand and is representing/distributing Exile Cycles apparel to 1000’s of retailers nationwide. We had 3 bikes on display in the main hall at Magic, the world’s largest apparel trade show in Las Vegas as well as a bike in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Russell Mitchell signed on as Rockstar energy drinks new spokesman and he is building the Rockstar Exile bike for a West Coast Customs TV show. Russell is putting an Exile signature touch to Slash from Guns N Roses V-Rod. Slash is a rock icon so we are very excited about the media attention that will come with that build.
We recently filmed VH1’s Rock of Love II show with Brett Michaels here at Exile Cycles. Russell Mitchell and Exile Cycles were the highlight of the show as he helped the 10 beautiful contestants assemble 2 Exile Choppers for VH1’s number one television show.
Our show circuit last year consisted of 16 appearances everywhere from Daytona and Sturgis to the east and west coast of Canada, Malaysia and Puerto Rico. Our past builds and clientele include George Clooney, Billy Joe of Green Day, John Mellencamp, Gilbey Clark of Guns and Roses, Chris Cornell front man of Sound garden/Audio Slave and PGA Champion Davis Love III, soon to be Slash and the list keeps growing.
The Jackson Wheels of Thunder would like to thank Joe Michner for his years
of dedication in helping to put on our show. Joe will be pursuing other
interests and we want to wish him well. RIDE SAFE JOE.
