Coney Dog Contest Brought to the event by the Jackson Jaycees, the Coney dog contest determines the best Coney dog in Jackson County. Local Coney Dog restaurants are invited to have a vendor space during the event so all attendees can sample the Coney Dog varieties. Select judges sample the entrants' Coney Dogs, judging them on bun quality, taste of sauce, hot dog quality and taste, condiment toppings and overall appearance. 2006 & 2007 winner: Virginia's Coney Island
